Hummingbird Haven is green and white striped and sits nestled in the woods overlooking a meadow. Many mornings as you sit on your covered veranda sipping your coffee, tea or hot chocolate you may see deer grazing. The inside of Hummingbird Haven is spacious and custom designed with traditional Indian block print ceiling in soft salmon, cream and green pin-striped. The tent has a private bath with an antique washstand sink from Eastern Europe, on demand hot shower and compost toilet. Robes are provided and the queen size bed has luxurious bedding. Sleeps 2.

Ridge Roost is a bold black and white striped luxury tent and is nestled at the end of the ridge in the woods. The interior boasts a red, orange and pink custom design. The private bath is black and white pinstriped and offers on demand hot showers. There is an antique washstand for a sink and compost toilet. Robes are provided for your comfort. The twin iron beds can convert to a king size bed as well with luxurious linens. The front porch overlooks the woods to the East where most mornings can be spent sipping a coffee watching the sunrise. Sleeps 2

Nightingale Nest is our true bohemian tent. The ceiling is magical with golden embroidered stars with mirrors. The interior colors are a robins egg blue and terracotta with a unique block print design. The private bathroom is blue and white pinstriped offering on-demand hot showers and a custom antique washstand for a sink along with a compost toilet making this tent a luxury in the woods. The outside covered porch has a table and chairs for afternoon board games. The twin beds date back to the 40’s; have down comforters and fine linens. Sleeps 2

Reserve the entire property to share with friends. This includes all three sleeping tents, which sleep up to 6 individuals or 3 couples and 18 acres of woods, meadows, trails and pond. We start by serving you a welcoming supper the first evening you arrive (after 3). Later that evening relax with friends which may include board games, croquet, bocci ball, horse shoes, bon fire and music. The next morning starts with a hearty breakfast on the veranda. The days activities can be as adventurous or relaxing as you wish. We can pack a picnic or have a gourmet lunch by the pond. If you let us know in advance we can arrange a wide variety of adventures. These include mountain or road biking, hiking, fly fishing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, or canoeing. We can also arrange for a variety of activities here at The Martyn House including a massage, yoga session or art class among others. Let us design the perfect retreat for you! The cost of all these activities and adventures is extra. That evening after your activities and you have relaxed and freshened up in your luxurious tent, we gather for a candlelight dinner. On the final day you will be treated to a hearty brunch. The entire property may be reserved for $1500 for the weekend (or any weekday - two night / three day stay) inclusive of meals and lodging only.You may also want to stay longer so make sure to ask about our other retreat/adventure packages!
